I was born in Lugano in 1965, I graduated in architecture in 1993 at the Federal Polytechnic of Zurich (ETHZ), having as professors, among others, Flora Ruchat, Alberto Campo de Baeza and Ernst Studer. Already during my studies I alternated my academic training with professional practice, collaborating with Gianfranco Rossi: architect and sculptor from Lugano who brought me closer to the world of restoration of historic buildings, sculpture and painting. After completing my studies I worked on restorations (San Carpoforo church in Gorduno, Lugano Town Hall and Malpensata Museum in Lugano) and new projects.

I then had the opportunity to manage for two years the construction of the new UBS headquarters at the Swiss Center in Milan, an experience that later led me, after the opening of my Studio in 1998, to design and build the Lugano offices of Citibank, Banca Vontobel, Dexia Banque, Banca Morval and Bloomberg; and to design furnishing elements in collaboration with Meritalia. In addition to the design and construction of houses, my Studio deals with the renovation of important buildings in the center of Lugano and collaborates with other architectural firms in the management of medium / large projects, managing the design and the execution phase.
